Interview with
a Fringe Artist
Each month we interview one Fringe Artist from our Festival. We want to give you a picture (whether you're an artist or patron) as to what it takes to be a self-producing artist and to connect you to our Fringe community of artists.
September's Fringe Artist is the creative duo from GoHorses Jo Firestone & Dylan Marron. So, what is this Ridgefield Middle School Talent Nite anyway? 17 characters. 2 actors and 1 middle school talent show ... duh!
Ridgefield Middle School Talent Nite is a two-person comedy about what happens when you let a dozen 12–14 year olds have a whole night to show that they're really, really, really talented. From the miserable assistant principal to the never-to-be-published 6th grade poet-warrior to the janitor once seen on America’s Most ... Wanted, Ridgefield’s first annual talent show is one not to be missed. A tribute to the years most of us would rather forget.
GoHorses Ridgefield Middle School Talent Nite was recently awarded our Director's Award at the 2010 Capital Fringe Festival (we think they are super-talented) and a Fringe Festival Editor's Pick of The Washington Post.
Be their fan!!
