Fringe has always been unique in the type of theatre and art it showcases, deviating from what and how a regional theatre or federal institution would or should produce work. Fringe Festivals are global platforms for artists to produce art with fewer barriers. Fringe is a celebration of art, challenging norms and fostering the freedom of expression through theatre and art. The existence of Fringe leads to a more vibrant and sustainable theatre and art community.
