Fringe’s spring and fall free concert series and community open mic celebrating the freedom of expression, DMV musicians, musical groups, and the SW Duck Pond.

Community Open Mic!!
Sign-up opens in the park at 4:30 pm; first come first served until filled. Slots to sign up for are either 4 or 9 minutes. Anyone with ANY talent they wish to share with the community can participate! Prizes will be awarded each night to the audience-voted favorite! Total OPEN MIC is 30 mins and kicks off promptly at 5 pm.

Come and enjoy the music and ducks! Be aware that giving ducks bread can cause health problems and negatively impact their environment. Do plan to bring a treat for the ducks! Choose from the list below:
+ Halved grapes (to be sure to cut them in half to prevent choking)
+ Thawed frozen peas
+ Barley or oats
+ Birdseed

SW Duck Pond opened in 1972 and was designed by the landscape architecture firm Wallace McHarg Roberts & Todd and is located at the corner of 6th and I Street SW. Duck Pond Music is supported by the SW BID and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
