Thank you to the thousands of Fringe theater-goers who took a chance on the unexpected by attending the 2024 Capital Fringe Festival in the Golden Triangle/Dupont/Downtown DC neighborhood.
The Capital Fringe Festival sold 57% of available tickets (7,010) to 36 productions and collaborated with 250 artists, cast, and crew. We are thrilled to return 70% of the total ticket revenue ($70,836.50) to participating artists (average payout of $2,083). And, we are grateful to report record donations brought in during this year’s Festival of over $28,890!
Audience Awards voting hit a record total of 1,218 votes.
