SHARP Dance Company, after winning “Best Dance” in last year’s festival, will be returning to Washington, DC to perform again at the Capital Fringe. SHARP will be bringing, “Alone and Together” a night of technicality challenging and thought provoking dance work. Pieces will include the World Premiere of “Fate”, a new piece choreographed by Joe Cotler (Former Koresh Dance Company Member) and Diane Sharp-Nachsin (SHARP’s Artistic Director), and “Awakenings” a piece choreographed by Kevin Ferguson (Former Doug Elkins and Parsons Dance Company) about the struggles of being a gay black man in today’s world.
