THE FUTURE IS UNOCCUPIED. An interactive solo performance in poetry, My Father, My Martyr, and Me invites audiences into a process of unlearning the criminality layered onto Palestinians. Through fragmented explorations of the performer’s life, his father’s life, and the life of Sirhan Sirhan, this show asks: in a world ravaged by colonialism, how can we love each other better?
